WHAT ARE THE DETAILS?
I offer Fine Art School Portraits to give families a way to beautifully document their children as they are, at this moment in time. Every family should have the opportunity to have their children documented in a beautiful authentic way, at an affordable price. This is a chance to capture the essence of your child at this exact time in their life. No flashes, no posing, no crazy backgrounds, no props, no forced smiles. Just your authentic child.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
I offer a turnkey experience for schools. All I need is a good source of natural light - generally a window is all I need!
Prior to photo day, all parents will receive a PDF with detailed instructions for online ordering and picture day prep.
All ordering will be done online. Parents will receive a link to their specific password protected online gallery and they will be able to view the photos of their child and choose and purchase what they’d like.
The school will receive high resolution digital files to use for advertising, website, yearbooks, etc.
Complimentary portraits of staff will be provided.
All ordering questions will be handled directly by me.
All equipment and personnel will be provided for picture day
WHEN CAN WE SCHEDULE YOU?
I work with schools throughout the academic year as a way to accomodate everyone’s scheduling needs. I only take a few schools per year as a way to give each school the attention it deserves.
HOW DO PARENTS ORDER PRINTS?
Your private online gallery will be delivered within two weeks of the shoot date. You will be able to order a variety of print products and wall art directly from your online gallery!
WHAT KIND OF PRINT PRODUCTS ARE OFFERED AND ARE THEY EXPENSIVE?
School portraits should be accessible. You will be able to order a la carte prints at low prices, and you will also be able to order fine art boutique products like gallery wrap canvases and metal art prints. You can view a sample price list here.
WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE PRINTS?
I print through a high end professional lab that produces beautiful prints and wall art.
CAN PARENTS PURCHASE THE DIGITAL FILES?
Absolutely! Parents can purchase the digital files for single images, or for the whole gallery. Digital files are available for purchase through the online gallery, and once payment is processed the high resolution digital files will be available for download.
HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY GET AN AUTHENTIC SHOT OF EACH CHILD?
These portraits are quick, fun, relaxed and painless. I’ve been photographing kids for over 12 years. I understand them and know how to make them feel relaxed in front of the lens. When you take the pressure and formality away, magic happens and I can truly capture the essence of each child.
GIVING BACK
I give 10% of gross sales back to the school!
WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?
Sessions will be held outside.
I will be wearing a mask at all times while shooting.
Sessions are spaced with enough time in between to make sure families are not overlapping.
I will shoot with a lens that allows me to remain at least 6 feet from your child.
Children do not need to be wearing a mask while they are being photographed, but I will request that parents / caregivers and siblings wear masks while they are waiting.
